American Mahjong Essentials is a streamlined three-hour beginner class designed for those who want to learn the basic information needed to begin playing socially. The instructor introduces each part of the game in a clear, approachable way and provides hands-on activities that reinforce key skills taught.

Open Play sessions are designed for those who have received training and are able to play independently. These are self-directed sessions — no instruction or guidance is provided. Bring your NMJL card and come ready to play!
